Video scores

I have made several video scores and a few videos of pieces of mine like the one below that you can watch and hear on my youtube channel or on this very homepage. I like very much the idea that one can have a look at the original score while listening to the music, and think it is a very nice way to experience a piece, even for people who can’t read music.

Première of “Songs in the Key of K” for mezzo-soprano and organ

Kristina Elfversson and Matthias Schmelmer will première my new work “Songs in the Key of K” for mezzo-soprano and organ this sunday at 4 pm in the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Berlin. The piece consists of 4 Songs in French about the daily life of a young women in the big city. I have written the libretto myself and conceptualized the piece as a short opera.

Premiere of “Toccata” for organ by Eric Lebrun

Eric Lebrun will première my “Toccata” for organ this Sunday at 4 pm in the church of Saint-Antoine-des-Quinze-Vingts  in Paris within the frame of a concert dedicated to organ contemporary music. Eric Lebrun’s recordings of the organ music of Franck, Alain or Duruflé played a tremendous part in my passion for organ music and it is a great honour to have him performing one of my work.

Before going back to the rehearsal room, there will be a detour through Hamburg on the 5th of May to shot an unplugged song for BalconyTV.
