Worldwide release of “Where the Light dwells” on the 4th of February 2015

Hydroglisseur’s first epistle – “Where the Light dwells” – will be available on DVD and download on the 4th of February. An epic music movie shot in a forgotten gothic theater from the golden age of German film – das ehemaliges Stummfilmkino Delphi -, directed by Stephan H and featuring a few very special guests.

A week made of Gas and Dust

This week my piano piece “Of Gas and Dust” will be performed twice. First tomorrow (20.01) in Berlin by Jan Gerdes in BKA Theater and on Friday (23.01) by Ortwin Stürmer in Heilbronn within the frame of “Klassik: unter der Pyramid”.

Tonight is my official début in the field of fine arts with the unveiling of Agnes (in Redemption), an installation uniting my work as a composer with my passion for photography.

Composing for the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 – Part III: the première of Ringing Peace

I have just come back from Oslo where the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 ceremony occurred on the 10th of December. The bells of the Oslo City Hall welcomed and accompanied the guests and the King Harald V of Norway on their way to the Grand Hall of Oslo City Hall with my composition “Ringing Peace” performed by Laura Marie Rueslåtten. The whole event is was broadcast by the National Norwegian Television NRK and you can watch it on their website www.nrk.no

Premiere of “You saw me die every Night” for piano by Nicolas Horvath in Minsk

The French pianist Nicolas Horvath just premièred my new piano piece “You saw me die every Night” on the 29th of November in Minsk, Bielorussia. The piece was written for his Project Glassworlds and further performances are being planned around the world for 2015.

composing for the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 – part II

The project is going forward and I am right in the process of composing  the piece for carillon that Laura Marie Rueslåtten will perform on the 10th of December during the opening concert of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo. Fritz Kalkbrenner’s third album “Ways over Water” is out

Fritz Kalkbrenner’s third album “Ways over Water” is out since the 17th of October. I spend two weeks with Fritz in the studio last January recording the guitar and the bass for this album and am really proud of what came out.
