I have made several video scores and a few videos of pieces of mine like the one below that you can watch and hear on my youtube channel or on this very homepage. I like very much the idea that one can have a look at the original score while listening to the music, and think it is a very nice way to experience a piece, even for people who can’t read music.
Kristina Elfversson and Matthias Schmelmer will première my new work “Songs in the Key of K” for mezzo-soprano and organ this sunday at 4 pm in the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Berlin. The piece consists of 4 Songs in French about the daily life of a young women in the big city. I have written the libretto myself and conceptualized the piece as a short opera.
Eric Lebrun will première my “Toccata” for organ this Sunday at 4 pm in the church of Saint-Antoine-des-Quinze-Vingts in Paris within the frame of a concert dedicated to organ contemporary music. Eric Lebrun’s recordings of the organ music of Franck, Alain or Duruflé played a tremendous part in my passion for organ music and it is a great honour to have him performing one of my work.
We just spent 12 days with producer Simon Frontzek to record 7 songs for the upcoming album. We will head again to the studio in June to record 4 more songs and finalize the album that should be released this fall. Before going back to the rehearsal room, there will be a detour through Hamburg on the 5th of May to shot an unplugged song for BalconyTV.

In 2009, I recorded some guitar and bass lines for 3 tracks of Fritz Kalkbrenner’s album Here today gone tomorrow. The album got released one year ago and was a success with a couple of singles getting quite a lot of radio airplay. A second album will be released in 2012 and I have been hired again to work on the project. It looks like my guitar and my bass should be featured on every track this time and we have just begun with a first 3-days session in the studio. I will keep you posted about this new project.
I am currently composing a piece for choir and saxophone quartet based on Psalms from the Bible. The première will occur on the 15th of October in Heilbronn in the Killianskirche, performed by the Vokalensemble Heilbronn and the Clair-Obscur quartet.
I will play a solo-show for the finissage of Karen Linnenkohl, Sabine Linse and Alexander Laudenberg’s exhibit “Subterrania” this Friday at 08:30 pm at Scotty Enterprises (Oranienstr. 46) in Berlin.
